Buttonville
Buttonville is a historic neighbourhood in Markham, just west of the former village of Unionville. It is a tiny hamlet with an old cemetary and a dozen or so historic houses, that serve as reminders of the old village. The housing in Buttonville typically consists of single family detached homes with two car garages.
The Buttonville community has easy access to several highways and is home to many technology companies, a Seneca College campus and the Buttonville Airport, which is planned for redeveloped and may be replaced with condominiums and future employment lands.
